I was commissioned by the Washington Post magazine to create an illustrative type based artwork for their December 8, 2013 cover. The cover story was about how the induction of veteran rockers Yes in the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seems to be one of the only topics that is receiving bipartisan support in Washington. The brief was to take design cues from Roger Dean's famous psychedelic logo for the band and create a dynamic type treatment for the cover line "Is there a single bipartisan issue in Washington? Yes" I also treated the WP magazine logo in a similar hand rendered 3D style.
